Musicademia
Musicademia is basically similar to Campus Tour, as the main focus of this program is the students. However, if in Campus Tour the Twilite Orchestra comes to campuses, in Musicademia we gather students from different schools and universities as well as the general public at a public activities centre for a similar concert. Due to the unavailability of a concert hall in Indonesia, we consider Gelora Bung Karno in the Senayan Sports Stadium complex representative for this purpose.
The program arose from various inputs and suggestions of those who had come to Campus Tour, which basically demanded Campus Tour to be held at every campus in Jakarta and other cities. Realizing it wouldn?t be feasible at the time, so why not gather them at one representative venue. Until today, Musicademia has been held six times and become the Twilite Orchestra?s regular program for every September-October in the years to come. In order to give the best performance for a large indoor space and audience of no less than 7,000 people, the Twilite Orchestra performs in full formation, totalling 73 musicians and 150-250 choir members comprised of the Twilite Chorus and university student choirs.
